Tervakoski

Tervakoski Oy's papermaking traditions date back to the year
1818. Over the decades Tervakoski has developed into a
manufacturer of numerous paper specialities distinguished
by their uniqueness and high quality.

In 1860, Tervakoski Oy began production of watermarked
specialities and then, six years later introduced the first papers
for the cigarette industry. Thinprint papers were produced
for the first time in 1930's. Just over 20 years later, in 1953,
the first cable and transformer papers were delivered to
customers. Release papers for self-adhesives were added in
the late 1970's.

In 1999 Tervakoski Oy joined the Austrian delfortgroup.

Today Tervakoski mill has five paper machines producing
annually more than 100,000 tonnes of speciality papers. The
products are exported to over 60 countries worldwide.

We are a leading supplier of a wide range of Electrical Insulating
Papers.

delfortgroup has speciality paper mills in Austria, Finland,
the Czech Republic and Hungary as well as several converting
units elsewhere in Europe, in North & South America and
South-East Asia.

The company celebrated its 190th birthday in 2008, having
through its affiliates a combined expertise of more than 450
years in paper production.
