Terkab N


Terkab N is a standard insulating paper for power cables with non-draining impregnants up to 40 kV.

Terkab N is manufactured of sulphate pulp. The use of purified water ensures that the content of impurities is exceptionally low. The paper is free of sizing and loading materials, undispersed
fibre lumps and metallic or conductive particles.

Terkab N has good mechanical properties and low thickness
variation.

   

Terkab E


Terkab E is a special insulating paper for oil-filled cables of voltages up to 250 kV.

Terkab E is manufactured of selected sulphate pulp and pure water. The paper does not contain any sizing chemicals or loading materials. It is also free of metallic or conductive particles and undispersed fibre lumps.

The low dissipation factor of Terkab E ensures a reduced working temperature in power cables. The amount of watersoluble materials and ash content are lower compared to Terkab N.

   

Terkab I


Terkab I is a very high quality insulating paper for Extra High Voltage AC and DC cables up to 750 kV.

Terkab I is manufactured of high-grade sulphate pulp using deionized process water. That's why the dissipation factor is extremely low, allowing the use of the paper at the highest voltages without overheating.

Terkab I is absolutely free of impurities. No sizing and loading materials are added in the manufacturing process. The paper is free of metallic or conductive particles and undispersed
fibre lumps.

   

Terkab CB


Terkab CB is a semiconductive carbon black loaded cable paper used in power cables:

- as a screen around the conductor, to smooth out the peaks of the inhomogeneity of the electric field.

- around the insulation under the shield. Terkab CB is manufactured of high quality cable paper pulp. The only additive is carefully selected carbon black. No sizing materials are added.

Carbon black particles give optimum performance in a cable, and they remain bound to fibres even in hot impregnating oil.

   

Terkab ICB Duplex


Terkab ICB Duplex consists of one semiconductive layer and one Terkab I layer. It is used as the first and the last layer in Extra High Voltage cable.
